Whether you're lining your lid to hide a gap between your falsies and natural lashes, creating a winged liner, or simply adding a swipe of liner to finish off your look - finding the perfect eyeliner can be a daunting task. There are so many different types and finishes. Lets look at the pros and cons of some types of eyeliners.
Liquid eyeliners
Pros: Long lasting, can be waterproof, can have a matte or glossy finish, available in different types of applicators (brush or felt tip), offers full coverage colour.
Cons: Can be difficult to apply depending on the type of applicator, some formulas can clump and stick to your eyelashes, some formulas can crease or crack.
Pencil eyeliners
Pros: Easy to apply, can easily be removed if you make a mistake.
Cons: If you have hooded eyelids it can transfer onto your lid, they are not waterproof and smudge easily.
Through trial and error I've tested many eyeliners in clean beauty and curated a list to help you understand what products deliver and which ones don't. I created these lists with clickable links, just hover over the products name and click to be directed to the website.

I wanted to let you know that there are many other eyeliners on the market in clean beauty (others that are not posted above), but after doing some research and seeing that majority of those eyeliners contain the same ingredients I decided that if all the products ingredient lists were the same they would have the same outcome - hence not testing them out.
I hope this helped you and gave you some useful insight on eyeliners in the clean beauty realm. Let me know what your favourite eyeliners are! If you have any questions, leave them below. Enjoy the rest of your day!
Take Care,
Nat xx
