Beginners Makeup Kit... Clean Beauty Edition

If you're new to clean beauty and not sure where to start, look no further! I've curated a whole list from A to Z to help you along your journey. These products are great if you're looking to replace or add new products to your stash. I use all these products daily and they have added so much value to my kit. So let’s get into it ⤵

BASE

•Fitglow foundation+ : A makeup meets skincare hybrid that hydrates while offering light to medium coverage. It's super comfortable to wear for long periods of time, great for anyone with a drier skin type.

•Han Skincare concealer: A great concealer to start with when venturing into clean beauty because it offers buildable full coverage, covers blemishes well, and has a decent wearing time.

•14e cheek + lip tint: The perfect multitasking product that offers a beautiful wash of colour, it has a satin matte finish and blends out easily with fingers, a brush, or even a blender. Wears beautifully over foundations or even when applied to your bare cheek!

•Ilia soft focus finishing powder: A translucent setting powder that is finely milled and doesn’t feel heavy. Won’t oxidize the colour of your products underneath.

EYES

•Elate brow balm: Offers buildable colour without being too pigmented (no block brows here)! Provides structure and definition to brows.

•Pacifica pink nudes eyeshadow palette: The most buttery soft, easy to blend and combine eyeshadows. Amazing colour payoff without the harsh lines. Anyone can use these eyeshadows and create a professionally blended look.

•Seraphine Botanicals luna liner: The best liquid liner in clean beauty (I have tried *almost* all of them)! Amazing dark black colour pigment and a felt tip applicator, what more could you ask for? Has a slightly glossy finish, not completely matte.

•Pacifica collagen mascara: The wand is a hourglass shape that provides evenly fanned out lashes and the formula dries relatively quickly so if you accidentally get some mascara on your lid or face you can use the end of a clean spoolie and gently remove it without removing your makeup that’s underneath!

LIPS

•14e lip sheen: The best alternative to chapstick, has hydrating ingredients with a soft mint flavour. Offered in clear or other slightly tinted shades.

•100% Pure lipstick: The best matte lipstick with an abundance of shades, not completely transfer proof but if you blot your lips it has good staying power and the formula doesn’t bleed!

•100% Pure lipgloss: The most amazing non-sticky, high sheen, and most comfortable lipgloss. Offered in a handful of shades that wear beautifully on their own or complimentary over lipsticks.

I hope this information helped give you some insight on alternative clean beauty products that you could add to your kit, or maybe even replace your existing conventional beauty products one by one (because after all cleaner formulations can cost more, and you get what you pay for)! All the products I've recommended are tried and true and have gone through rigorous testing because I have high standards when it comes to product functionality. I truly believe in cleaner, greener, safer cosmetics and their importance in the beauty industry's future. Moving forward we shouldn't have to choose between a safer for you product and a conventional one just because they are on the shelf and marketed to create "beauty", because in my eyes, that is unethical.
